  • has this been revolved yet?

  • I was waiting for you too pipe up...

No, its not resolved yet young man. Patience

  • the summer is nearly over

  • what summer?

Or is this build destined for summer 2013?

  • the summer is nearly over
I started this at the end of "summer", so no surprise its not going to be finished before the end of summer.

  • 21st may /= end of summer

  • also thanks for the hug yesterday

  • My pleasure :-)

  • 21st may was when the idea was mentioned, not when the buying of parts started.

  • Ha ha. I hadn't thought of that. I'm officially dropping the "h" from my name. "Lightening" it from John to Jon should make me faster on the hills and potentially also in the time trial!

  • the super safe bit of the bike is that it will never be built, thus Iain is not likely to crash it

  • I dont know about that. He's dropped a fair bit of dosh on it already. This badboy will get done, just a matter of when now

  • Cheers dude. You're right, it's still on just a matter of when.

Maybe, I'll just hold of til spring to post it

XH built the goldsprint but never rode it

  • Ha ha HAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, my wheels are done.

I will hopefully pick them up tomorrow, then we shall witness the power of my fully operational deathstar see how light the Langster can be

  • ^^he never put a chain on it.

When the langster changes frames it'll be lighter...

  • The rumor mill tells me some progressive has been made.

    ...

  • if you can call taking two hours to badly fit an ilinks brake cable progress, sure...

    ;)

  • It also took 3 of us incl laner and OSR to get that damn iLink cable on. And its still not completed.

    We also weighed it:
    Frame + uncut fork + 1 Brake caliper + saddle + seat post + stem + bars + all the spacers = 2.4 kgs....

  • What was the problem with the iLink?

It's pretty straightforward in my experience.

  • Lack of opposable thumbs...

  • glut of questionable bike mechanics?

  • south african

  • Fooken prawns...
