  • is that boxing, whilst being supersoaked? or just being supersoaked in your underwear?

  • Iain, pls, a picture, to shut us all up.

  • is that boxing, whilst being supersoaked? or just being supersoaked in your underwear?

    The latter

Iain, pls, a picture, to shut us all up.

    This

  • I would, but I am at work, with no way to load it up... And the only picture is of the scale, not the frame.

  • Oh, i thought he meant a picture of you in your underwear...

  • did it come with a headset?

  • No idea... Didnt check. But I assume so. Otherwise thats going to be a bitch

  • with that spare 17g you can afford 5 bearings and some plasticine, that'll have to do in lieu of a real headset.

  • Happy?!

  • real figures
    Frame (only) - 1123.2g
    Brake Caliper - 139.1g
    Saddle - 135.2g
    Total = 1397.5g

  • wait, SLR's are supposed to be 135g before stripping!

  • Well, this is an SLR unless TM/Malasian has sold me something that isnt a stripped SLR...

  • My old SLR with padding weighed 138g if memory serves correct. You've been had!

  • I did have some very pertinent, informative, interesting and mildly amusing responses to post in this thread.

But I note that the thread has a less that 2 star rating.

    So bollocks to that.

  • I just voted it 5, so now its 2.00 dead

  • 1.95. some bastard probably voted it a 1.

    cough

  • wait, SLR's are supposed to be 135g before stripping!

They're supposed to be, they rarely are; typical Italian scales. The packaging does say +/-8%, so 124g to 146g is what they actually claim, although the mean and median are both towards the upper end of that range in my experience.

  • love that tester has weighed enough SLRs that he thought it useful to calculate a mean and median

    WHAT ABOUT THE MODE?

  • Well, this is an SLR unless TM/Malasian has sold me something that isnt a stripped SLR...

I'm thinking it may be a Vanox tube railed SLR instead of the Ti verson. A quick check is to see if a decent magnet is attracted to the rails. If it is then it's the Vanox version ..

SLRs on every bike, except the old Flite Evo on the lo pro.

    WHAT ABOUT THE MODE?

but not enough bikes to have a mode.
