Oh, it works for me, on caad12 105 and above. Weird

I just want frame and fork.

Should be sooner than that. Stans originally released the Alpha 340 as exactly that, a 340g rim brake rim, but then apparently it all fell apart when you actually braked on it, so they gave it extra meat and it went up to a portly 360g.
Was speaking to one of their reps recently and he said something around the 300g is in the works. -

We gave up on ordering from CSG, and have ordered from Sigma at full RRP.
CSG are incredibly useless- they have the frame, they've had it for weeks, but they can't dispatch it due to their computer system saying No.

Your di2 'loom' has been measured up today against my CAAD12. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it! Mines just been in for a quick tune up and steerer chop.

Ah, yours is the one that was in the shop when I dropped my Serotta off?

Pretty much decided I was going to get a CAAD12 105 on C2W but now nowhere I can actually try in a store has them in my size

Holy shit
Is it really true?
Who delivered the goods?
Also obvs crank porn is obvs

Yup. And looking very generic at the moment.
Was chatting to Mario about wheels, and pretty set on Hope Pro 4 but rims still to be decided. Grails are tempting.
Feeling very much it needs a splash of colour. But I got the black so I could do this! -

Ze Germans
I'd emailed them telling them I was cancelling the order since they took my money and didn't actually have them in stock and I'd waited the 2 weeks they said it would take but they told me to hang on until the end of the week and they'd update me. They did and the cranks had arrived, then I got tracking info and a couple of days later they're here!
They're only the cheap ones, not the SiSL2s, although I got a bit excited when they arrived in an SiSL2 box. Fuckers.
So, if these work, that £110 I spent on a new chainring makes the Welsh 25 one of my most expensive races. Still probably cheaper than the £200 taxi ride to Bentley race and the £££s spent defending my Worlds title - the whole 8hrs of 24hrs...

Hollowgram spider removal tool - where can I get one? Have powermeter and cranks, forgot about tool.
This: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cannondale-Hollowgram-Crankset-Spider-Lockring-Removal-Tool-KT012-Black-/152068267468?hash=item2367f99dcc:g:2zIAAOSwZkJURzi7
seems to have too many 'pins' to undo this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cannondale-Si-SiSL2-Hollowgram-Spider-Lockring-Free-Shipping-/152064312121?hash=item2367bd4339:g:bxkAAOSw~gRV3J8KThis looks tidy..

I bought mine from here https://www.sellutionmtb.com/ because he did both tools for $50 shipped from the US and I'm blighted by being both a skint fuck and also too feeble to operate non compact gearing so I had to spunk the dorrar.
They've not arrived mind you despite being dispatched some 2 weeks ago, and for a high roller pro buyer like yourself that faff might not be necessary, but it's the cheapest option around.

I would love to take the parts to a shop tomorrow, throw my credit card at them and voice the immortal "just do it, won't you!" at them. I want it now now NOW!

We have those tools at our shops due to Cannondale now having Hollowgram in nearly all their line-up.

Just pulled the trigger on a caad12 105 rim brake. Had the disc version a week or so ago but just couldnt get the hang of it. Will be sticking with rim brakes for now.
Got the 52cm and bought it as a whole bike, was planning on waiting on getting the frameset only but when I called westbrook, they told me that UK might not have 50 & 52 frameset only sizes available in a while as the stock is limited for these sizes. Will be changing the 105 groupset to sram red 22 and some lighter wheels, so expect some 105 groupset and the wheels it comes with to be for sale in the next couple of days, and the Si Crankset.
Never had a BB30 frame before so been researching GXP to BB30 conversions, still cant seem to understand how it work as there's a couple of converters available. Will need new tools as well so hopefully, LBS has some in shop... micycle/cyclesurgery highbury/red bike shop.

Don't worry about BB, just ride with what they have.
-
• #5294
Was thinking of running with a complete sram setup as it'll bug me if the crankset is different. Petty i know :p
-
• #5295
In that case, get the SRAM BB30 version of your crankset and you won't need to change bearing.
-
• #5296
The third tier Si crank will be difficult to sell on ya know.
-
• #5297
AFAIK it got the same 109mm SiSL2 spindle as the higher end Cannondale.
-
• #5298
force22 has long enough spindle but red as "true bb30" crank wont, if I've done my research correctly.

..and switching the Si chainset to force22 only saves you 30g (690 vs 720) so it isnt worth it imo if unless you are going for matching sram groupset.
Thanks, I get this though I'm afraid:
