Here is mine - replaced an R700 that basically wore out and broke. it was an Ebay frame purchase built up on a budget to be a winter bike but I can't now bring myself to use it that way.
1998 CAD2
Description in 3 words :Light Harsh Fast
I love it for anything up to 3 or 4 hours. It handles well (I can let go of the bars and sit up whilst climbing), is secure on the road and just makes me want to keep trying to push that bit harder. A joy.

I've a 1984 ST400 over on CP.
There are a couple of areas needing attention... -

I've onlÅ· seen pictures. This would make a nice stablemate for my CAD2 above.

Slik road? Yah had about 25mm travel or something. Corner well. Friend of mine pulled his out of his loft the other day - hardly used, in my size. Do want.

looks like a regular r frame with silk road forks attached
the frame should have silk road written on the top tube i believe -

Nah all headshoks require 'dale's 1.5" proprietary headtube.

Hi folks, Does anyone happen to have a spare on of these? http://www.cannondale-parts.de/WebRoot/Store20/Shops/61764971/4B15/2F0F/791B/D124/2ED4/C0A8/28BB/0354/A192.jpgJust snapped off my r900. Only place I can find them is germany and the postage is ridiculous. Happy to pay & meet anywhere in london : )

Is that the cable guide off the rear chain stay? I removed the one off my broken fram before I scrapped it.
-
• #465
Can't CSG get that in for you? If you have the part Number get your local dealer to get it in. Kinoko, Edwardes, Half Pipe etc should all be able to do this for you.
-
• #466
One of the lads at kinoko pointed my towards http://www.framebuilding.com/ but they only seem to have braze on versions. Forgive my ignorance, but what is CSG?
I think the problem is that as the frame is from '95 the parts have been discontinued so I think deadstock is my only option : ( -

Yeh thats the one, do you have the bolt as well? If so I'd be glad to take that off your hands :)

I'd be surprised if Dr. Cannondale - who i assume you are referring to -have that as deadstock but its possible. It's more likely CSG Europe will have them.
CSG is Cycling Sports Group owned by Dorrel - who also own 'dale. They distro dale and a load of other brands in the UK. Call em up. They answer. Or get an lbs to call them for you?

I think so - just back from a run and about to go out on my bike for a couple of hours. When I get back I've a few bits to hook out / measure / check for people so I'll take a photo for you.
