  • If you already have a CAAD10 its not going to be miles apart from each other unless you go hi-mod IMO

And women's version has diff geo, high stack short reach.

  • He talking about the slight play before engagement.
that too, but I also just mean the fact that it is possible to move the brake lever from side to side while braking. I just prefer the solid feeling of sram.

    groupset thread>>>

Means you can brake and change gear as you come up to a corner, on the bright side.

  • Although didnt you say the 2016 model have more tyre space?

The Supersix EVO Hi-Mod is an all-new design for 2016 from a bloke who used to work for Cervelo (as well as the CAAD12), the geometry is also a lots better and more consistent in the range too.

The Supersix EVO is the original design base on the previous year model but with new paints and (some) groupset.

  • I cant fix the upside down...

  • upside down or not you need to get rid of those ghastly fsa rings

  • After taking advantage of Evans' ludicrous £300 CAAD10 Disc, I've gone absolutely mad for CAAD.

    Delivery date is 10th Feb.

Very excited to re-join the C-Club.

  • CAAD12 Disc, who has got one?

  • yissss bruvvvvvvv

  • You, soon, most likely?

  • Also, while I'm at it - anyone got a SiSL Lockring tool I could borrow?

  • I guess I should probably cross-post this in here. I've now joined the Cannondale club.

I answered an advert for a 'Cannondale commuting bike' as I needed something sensible and it looked ideal:

It turns out it's a 1995 Cannondale M500 mountain bike. It was bought new, kitted out with everything in the picture as a commuter but the owner didn't like the position so changed the stem. (That's why it has that crazy stem.)

The owner still didn't like it so put it into the garage and it stayed there ever since. So, once home and stripped of all the extras, apart from the stem and some new tyres, it's exactly as it came from the factory - it has all the original stickers on the frame and the rims. It really does look like it was ridden two or three times, maximum.

I've got a more fitting stem on the way, replaced anything that was QR and put on some Schwalbe City Jets. Now I just want the weather to get better so I can ride it!

  • That's cool as fuck

  • Very, very nice!

  • Ha! I wish. I roll on a frankendale R400. This is just for those interested in clearances and detail.

  • The 140mm rotor is a bad ideas.

  • I've gone for 160mm rotors for the 10 - will I have to pop the adapters on to frame and fork when using CX77 cable pull calipers?

  • I believe the caad10 disc is set for 140mm without adapters. You'll need an adapter on both to run 160mm. But, I think, most people run 160 front and 140 rear? That's what I'm running.

  • Ahh, thank you darling - i could only get the rotors I wanted in 160mm so it'll be 160 f+r, guess I'll need post mount adapters for both

  • Wouldn't the owner be better off with a synapse given the spacer stack?

  • I want spider rings for mine.

  • I presume a bench vice is necessary/recommended when removing / installing the spider/Lockring - I've also heard a LOT of locktite is adviseable to dispel what seems to be a regular creak problem....

  • Thanks to @Justin_Case for this bad boy
