Sorry but the only thing to do with thr green is to paint over it with a different colour.

Yep, it's the Sagan edition, but they're the same colour.
I'll stop abusing your retinas now.

That is a bit 'Essex mamil chariot' isn't it.

It's a choice between these:
5700
Mostly 5800, low-end crankset and wheels
6800, Hollowgrams, better wheels
Force 22, Hollowgrams, better wheels
The grey has the largest discount (from its RRP - both 105 versions are cheaper) but not keen on the colour and wanted to try Shimano after having been using SRAM.

I would go Racing Edition every time.
If you go Shimano I would go for 11sp, and I think you are missing out unless you get the chainset and brakes. Both are very good.

is the grey from last year? The DT cable stops are diff to the rest ..
Also its the nicest. -

Although the chainset vs bb30 caveats all apply.....

The best wheels too.

All are 2015 apart from the white 5700 105 which is 2014. They're all the same frame and fork apart from the different cable stop location you mentioned. Not sure why it's different. Grey also has internal rear brake cable.
TBH I hated setting up the YAW Red front mech and thought 6800 looked tempting.

go for the grey one; IIRC you had trad drops on your CAAD10 too didnt you? Its the only one on the list that is ready to ride without changing anything (mainly the tyres). And pedals obvs.
Grey = no brainer

That's why I like the Ultegra version - No faffing with selling the crankset, wheels, and possibly brakes, then then fitting a new BB30 crankset myself or fitting an adaptor for Shimano cranks. The Ultegra version, I'd just swap the wheels, and change a few other easy bits with no major work or extra tools etc needed.

Yeah but I'm thinking of switching to compacts as I'm tall and want to reel in the reach to the drops slightly. Sizing down from 60 to 58 at the same time.

Green gets my vote, theres a stock one on weightweenies which looks nice i.e. its slammed
-
• #2541
If it doesn't have to be carbon...
-
• #2542
Something about the CAAD12 doesn't do it for me. Top tube slant, skinnier forks, and cable routing I think.
-
• #2543
CAAD 12 is "50% more comfortable"
so that is somewhere between this .....
and that ...
-
• #2544
The disc version looks rad irl

Doesn't do it for me either. How much does a CAAD12 disc 105 weigh?
-
• #2546
This one? Think it's gonna have to be the green, even though the grey is a bit cheaper. Don't want SRAM Yaw again, and not keen on the colour.
-
• #2547
Thats the one

• #2548
Hey, does anyone have a 5mm headset bearing cover for a Caad 10 they'd sell me? I can't find any in stock at the moment. Cheers!
-
• #2549
Get yourself a 2mm headset cover from @mdcc_tester and it'll look much nicer. (Check his conversations on his profile to find the sale thread)

Thanks @Pete4Eyes, I've messaged him. Might be a stupid question, but is there any reason CAAD10's come with a 30mm cap, will putting a 2mm one on harm the headset?
Yep I agree. I need a new bike now really. The green has HHSRB potential:
