are those logos just stickers over the frame or decals under the clear coat or painted?
-
• #13328
Team bikes are stickers under clear coat, Initial concept (bike used in the Palace video) was all paint, a few other bikes used for PR were a mixture of painted graphics and digital print application.

Ha ! I see that now . no that is a white jersey on a white maaequin white black edging. I got one for finishing the following days sportive.
Yes I can say I rode my System six with the Lion kings road train .
Albeit very briefly as they came past me at mach 5. I then stacked it into a grass bank trying to catch them on a narrow downhill country lane when I ran out of ability. -

What's the going rate for CAAD9 or thereabouts framesets these days so I know I won't get ripped off on eBAy. Wanting to revive a CAAD project on a budget.

I’m in the market for a 60cm caad 10 or 12. Frame or bike. LMK, ta.
-
• #13334
Sure you need a 60? They're massive.
I ask as a 194cm being riding a 58....

Don't know about CAAD 9 but I just paid £200 for a CAAD 8 mostly complete bike on ebay just needed cables and bits n bobs .
Luck of the draw I expect.
There was a lovely six 13 frame on the bay very recently that was £375 I believe. -

Somewhere between £150 and £300 depending on the variation, paint and condition.
The better versions were BB30 and had the full carbon premium fork. The lower spec versions had BSA and the 'ultra' alu and carbon fork. Check when doing your enquiries.

I’m fairly sure, judging by the geo chart. Could you post a photo of yours and tell me your saddle height?

Has anyone managed to score some SAVE/SYSTEM bars and stems? Still looking out of stock everywhere.

Finally got this built. Lighter than anything I've ridden, but that's not saying a lot...
-Rear rim is annoying me; may throw a gumwall on it.
-Needs bar tape (lizard skins black is getting difficult to find??).
-Steerer chop would be nice but I'm not ready for that sort of commitment. -

Looks great despite the mismatched rims.
Might be the camera playing tricks but are the hoods set at the same place on both sides?
-
• #13341
Cheers! Not the most inspiring build but it will do.
Hmm you’re probably right on the hoods... I aligned the bottom of the drops with the levers, but then stuck a new pair of hoods on so probably yanked one of them up in the process..

Hi,
I bought some cannondale cranks with the axle pictured (A3008-125L-I18) and it's far to wide for my cross bike, will this 109mm axle fit on as a replacement?https://www.tritoncycles.co.uk/components-c9/chainsets-cranks-c70/hollowgram-109mm-spindle-p7793

Is it actually threaded? Might need something exotic like the fat bike axle with a special direct mount chainring.

If your CX bike is BB30 or BB30a or PF30 then the 109mm will work - just need the right spacers.

Purple caad 12 with thru axle fork on ebay, in a 58

• #13347
The 125mm is means to be for the wonky cross bike, but I've been using one to run 1x on a BMC XC hardtail with a BSA30 BB, 34T 110bcd just about clears, a spiderring would be more comfortable.

I’ve pretty much bought a supersix, but it has a pretty prosaic paint scheme. So I’m considering custom paint.
I’m now in the market for a 25.4 save seatpost and 52/36 spidering 175mm chainset. PM if you can help.

On SRAM the olives thread on to the barb. It’s possible that you may be able to unthread the current one but I doubt it would go back on again and it will already be crushed by the calliper bolt. Easiest way is to just cut the olive and bard off.

Thank you, realised this eventually! Waiting on one hose to finish this, as I ordered the red 22 one, thinking it would fit. Had I been more careful I'd have been able to reuse the old hose but in my rush I cut it a couple of cm too short. Pricy mistake.
