Me on the red Samson taking the minor final. Glad it all held together as I've never ridden this bike until today, finished the wheels and the rest of the build last night. Full NJS for the occasion (apart from the pedals). Absolutely brilliant day out in the sun!!

Excellent afternoon. Well done to all involved.
You can just about make me out in Erik's photo, sat next to all the LFGSS crew in a Gazelle cap. Felt awkward giving it the "hi, you might know me from the forum" chat.
After months of planning to do the induction, today's really inspired me to get down and actually do it. -

Cheers Arben! Not sure if the 36 spoke/4x wheels were the most optimal but it was in the spirit of the day :-)
And that's a cool shot Erik, I'll come and say hi at training next time... -

What a great day, well done to all involved. One of the best track events I've ridden. A brilliant format, great weather, a decent crowd and a cracking atmosphere.
Managed to squeeze my way into the senior final where I had my arse handed to me by the development squad guys but I can't be ashamed of that. Was spinning out on a 94" gear, those boys were effin quick!
Can't wait for next year.

I was just wondering, did anyone else find it amusing as I did yesterday, that once we'd all lined up on the start line the commissaire would point his gun at you and then ask if you were ready.
Even better, after the start of each race, he would put the gun in his front trouser pocket for safe keeping.

What a top day! It was amazing to see how fast the really fast boys can go.
I felt for you Tricky in that final, they were not hanging around.
Thanks to Rollas, the commissaire's and the crowd. Really looking forward to next years.

Can you buy those racks? I love it.
