They're the only sides who have consistent form in the qualifiers. Although Portugal are touted as having an uncharacteristically strong defence, and might cause an upset with holland's not-so-total-football-anymore predictable attack. Then again, denmark finished ahead of portugal in their group beating them 2-1 in the process.

From an england perspective, I think getting out of the group is their biggest problem. Beating either Sweden or France, with this squad will be a big ask. If they do make it through to play Spain/Italy then weirdly enough I think they have a chance to get to the semis to be knocked out by germany.

I reckon that Spain might turn out to be the disappointment of the tournament, their players seem knackered. Germany on the other hand have it all to prove. I wouldn't be surprised if the Netherlands can't get out of the group stages. As for England, they'll do well to get out of the group stages.
