I would. It looks like the kind of bike you could a 200mile ride on without even needing to get off and stretch.
unlike brakeless lo pro track bikes.
I meant a classic randonneuring bike with down tube shifters. I would go for a more standard touring bike. I think the same could be said for something like this.

Which AllCity is that? Macho man? Every photo I see convinces me thatI want one.
Edit - no, different fork to the Macho Man, got it - space horse.

Not your bike, but seems relevant with all the Oak chat. Your randonneur looked good.

I've not ridden that All City but I have ridden CX and Audax type bikes and high trail rando' bikes (LTRBs?). I think it's a bit like compairing cheese and cake. They're both amazing but don't always fit your mood, and a world without either would be poorer. Or more hungry. Or something.
Bikes like that All City have better ti and carbon alternatives. I'm not sure anyone's done similar with ranndonneurs.

If you're referring to a typical low trial randos, someone did a modern version on his titanium frame but with a steel fork to have similar trial;

I'm always in the mood for cheese. Always.

Looks fantastic Ed. One of the best builds on this forum. Great that it'll be used everyday too and not just a fair weather bike.

Such as*?
From what I can see I thought the Space Horse was basically meant to be a good looking, and more finished version of the Sury Cross Check. Basically a practical all-rounder with some cx marketing thrown in because it's "in".
- for some reason every time I read that back it sounds aggressive - it's not meant to be.

Ha lols. I suppose Miro means something like Fox's Pearson audaxing bike maybe?
I want a Space Horse so bad though, looks so comfy and convenient.

Their geometry is not your best of friend I'm afraid Brother Jake, I too was looking at the All City in the past, unfortunately they're slightly more ignorant toward the T-Rexes posse.
Have faith, there are frame out there that will fit your disability.

hahaha had to try really hard not to laugh out loud at work whilst reading that. That is a shame. I am not in the market for a touring bike at the moment anyway, but when I am, I will give you a shout Brother Scoble.

Must spread rep etc. It definitely is real James, flexibility cannot increase the length of my arms. Comparatively speaking, my arms are disproportionately shorter than my legs.

How flat is your back while cycling? How far forward is your torso?
Increased lower back flexibility can help you rotate your torso lower, bringing your hands further forward. You then need the core stability to hold yourself there without collapsing.
Good core strength and flexibility help with these things. I too have relatively short torso with respect to my leg length, but these days can get my head to my knees and my hands under my feet when doing a forward bend.
Once the light and the front shifting have been sorted, I'm gonna take it for a good test ride in the Lake District.
That bike is a dream come true.
