I've got a roll of NOS gloss-fluro-green Silva tape to go on at some point.

I shall be keeping the packaging though, it's similar to this (below) and hot.

Some clear heatshrink tubing on the copper windings would seal it nicely

Wharry's old Harry Quinn... I bought the bar/stem setup off him and marveled at the taping skills!

nice! I was always a bit wary of reverse wrap for fear of the hands pushing the lip of the tape in the wrong direction, but looks ace.

I've never bothered shellacing cotton tape before. I don't mind it getting a bit grubby really. 2 Layers is just as squashy as fizik I reckon although a little rougher to the touch.
I might give harlequin a try next time, haven't seen purple tape tho to match my frame unfortunately. I do like the look of twine on the ends but I've never had it unwrap on me so it seems like pointless extra effort, it looks epic on this one though.

As for the triple, it looks the same as double except the 2 opposing wraps are started alongside eachother, yellow goes one direction(occurs ever wrap), black and white in the other. start em next to eachother parallel. Then just don't fuck it up halfway round....

It is. My lilac bike is much more restrained. I provide a pic of the current set-up on the disco bike not because the bar wrapping is pornworthy but to illustrate how well it would suit that style....
