The Vig has a Columbus branded TTC hiddenset, my problem with it is that the fork steerer is currently about 3mm too short so a STS cover should get me enough space. I'll measure up when I'm back with the bike.

Relative to a TTC, you should gain about 12mm

forgot to add the compression ring stack. balls. do you have any 1.5mm shims in black (46)?
OD is magic fit though!

Think the first pic is showing the cover upside down, then the second one shows it bottoming out on the head-tube?
-
• #332
I think the first one is with the bearing and collet in place, the second one without to illustrate where he wants it to be. Bike upside down in both cases.

Can I get a 46/2 please? Payment to sts@grafixbyjorj.net...?

Yes & yes

Got any 47/2s left? Would like one for CAAD9 - which I assume is the same as CAAD10
-
• #339
Best to measure rather than assume, but I have 47×2 in stock, and 45×2 and 46×2 and, oddly, one off 48×2
-
• #340
Yep - looks like 46x2 is the way to go.
I suspect though that like the above upside down pics the compression assembly rises too high from the headtube to provide a good aesthetic fit.

Can I grab a 46x2 (or a 46x3 should you happen to have one)?

Only 2mm deep ones are in stock, it's likely to be a long time before another batch of custom depths.

Payment seen for one 46x2 cover :-)

46 x 2 for a CAAD 10. Has anyone got a picture of one installed?
Like Howard, I'm concerned about the compression assembly.
-
• #345
I've a 47/2 on my CAAD, needs 1mm more depth.

• #346
Head exploding.
Does this mean 48/2 then? -
• #347
47/3
-
• #348
This is my CAAD10, I ordered a 47/2. It fits pretty flush but it's not bottoming out on the head tube.
-
• #349
Ah. Which are not in standard size. (yet?)
Tester: what's the minimum number you need for an order of 47/3? -
• #350
47/2 looks like it fits fine for the CCAD10. Mine is the same on the fixie skidder. You want a tiny bit of space between cover and head tube.
The part number for a low Record Hiddenset cover is HS-HD503, it does seem that nobody wants to sell one for less than the price of a complete headset, so there's that.
The total stack height is 5.9mm, there's certainly no more than 2mm to come off that by using one of my covers.
