Nope.
If you're getting rid of yours, I would be interested in them. Despite, what you've said about them (the stopping thing, I have heard from a few people) but I would be interested to try them out.And they look cool.

Will see how they come off the frame: another downside is that they use torx fittings that are made of cheese instead of allen keys. Irritating.

I've got a 3T Dorico Team seatpost (27.2), if you're interested.
A bit of wear to the graphics, but totally sound.

I'm happy with my Planet X brakes. I've got swiss stop greens on them and don't find them to be lacking in power, though I'm pretty light myself (59kg) so it could be different for larger riders.
My only real complaint is the lack of quick release, which can be a pain if you like to keep your pads close.

I've found the planet x brakes to be fine. Quick release is easy, just pop the clamp on barrel out from under the arm and back in again. Also stopping power seems ok. Admittedly I have on on my fixed so I'm doing skidzzzz too. Also I'm not a scoble\tester esque fountain of knowledge so ignore me.

If you csn afford 400 quid for some wheels might as well chuck an in a bit more and get some dura ace c24s

'Chuck in' another £200+ over the RS80s for slightly lighter hubs? No thanks.

Get Campag :) the quick release in the lever is great for the PX brakes.
I am running greens too, but I am 85 odd kilos so that might explain the lack of bite. I did come from using Campag Record brakes too - which are superb. Shame I bloody ebayed them.. looking for some more now!

I think I may end up going with the Planet-X brakes, I really like them and they are cheaper than Force brakes...so we shall see.
I think I'm going to leave shifters until next month along with wheels (cheapish for now).
I have front and rear mech and chainset (all Force)

Same rim. Not 100% sure on spokes .. The only difference I know is the hubs are Dura Ace quality instead of Ultegra quality.

So I now have a Sram Rival groupset. (thanks Sumo)
And should be picking up a force chainset and front mech tomorrow and hopefully some bars during the week.

The rims are the same, and I'm pretty sure the spokes are too. The only other difference bar the hubs (and the bundled skewers) is that Dura-Ace wheels are built by more senior wheelbuilders in a special air-conditioned room in Shimano's Malaysian facility rather than on the sweaty factory floor. (Seriously.)

So this has all changed.
The arrival of thecyclescheme at work coupled with the Planet-X £1000 Sram red bike - meant I had a change of mind.
The whole process has taken longer than I expected, but I should be in possession of the bike by next Tuesday at the latest. The frame will be red, so I am tempted to stick to black only finishing kit.
Replacing: seatpost, stem, bars, cables will be done straight up.
Wheels will be a slightly longer term operation.Pics to follow when I get the bloody thing.

OH and I have the PX superlight brakes.
-
• #44
whats the cyclescheme bike? or are you saying that the PX is it?
-
• #45
Planet X is the cyclescheme bike.
Being built on Thursday. Which I hope means I should have it by next Monday.
I much prefered the Focus frame, but this was a great deal and pretty much the only way I was going to afford Red. -

Right...
Because Planet X ran out of XL pro carbon frames, they have given me a Nanolight instead.
Decent!
-
• #47
looks like its going to be super fly.
what wheels are you using?
-

The nanolight is an awesome frame. I loved mine until I crashed it.

Awesome! It looks good in black and lighter frame plus light group should result in a light bike.

The deal came with Shimano R5001's in black.
Going to do the XH trick of wheel re-branding until I can afford new ones.
I had thought 3T finishing kit, but I'm sort of tempted by Thomson or Syntace.
did you order them?
