I'll be loading the route back onto my
Garmin. Find the massive guy in London fields and I'll put it on your Garmin too. Or tell you to follow the smell of Smithfield market.Except that's not where the coaches are dropping off this year...

I doubt anyone who does there and back will care :)

Wrap the mackerel in foil, put one in each jersey pocket, maintain 15 mph plus average...
Poached mackerel breakfast on the beach with every cat in Suffolk for company.
Yes! great idea. Or tenderize a steak betwixt saddle and sitbones, light a fire on the beach and sear the steak across your spokes above the embers.
Or bring sandwiches.

£5 from Decathalon, for attaching bottle cages to frames with no mounts. This is what I use.

Greetings and love folks,
Well not long to go now is it...
I have bought some nice new tyres from Brixton Cycles - swalbe marathon plus which I find just the job for me.
All lights, batteries, tools etc sorted.
High viz stuff looked at and ready to don
Food and drinks purchased.
Oh and I'm rocking my new frame this year - check it here http://www.oakcycles.com/I'm gonna take Friday off, so I can get everything sorted and then on Saturday just relax and rest up ready for the ride.
My wife is travelling out to Suffolk and will meet me on the beach as part of Team Rasta which is so sweet.
So if you see a Rasta on a white bike please say hello and introduce yourself.
I hope everyone doing this has a nice few days and good luck for the ride. If there are any first timers , don't worry, just take it easy and you will be fine.
Also give thanks to those involved in sorting the coach tickets - great work!
See you on the ride.
Peace and Love to one and all,
Tim -

I've just remembered that I swore never to attempt there and back again by myself after falling asleep on Epping New Road and waking up in the oncoming lane.
Ah well.
