I don't think people want to read about rowing, but quad atm. Hoping to get into a double then single this summer.

the wait has been worse for me because I look at the bloody thing sitting on my window sill every night as i fall asleep.

  • Quads are fun, fours are much better though.
    I won the u16 national champs ;)

  • As requested:

  • here's what it really looks like

still needs some tweeks obvs, and i've got some MAX decals to apply

  • You need to do some strap admin.

  • been done already. I'll take some more photos on the weekend

  • quite a short stem, looks odd. and platform pedals with straps???

  • quite a short stem, looks odd. and platform pedals with straps???

Stem - I will have to ride it properly but i think i might want a longer one yes
Pedals - i've got reasonably large feet so I could never get on with cages, my feet would never feel secure.

  • clipless pedals?

  • I want to be able to ride in normal shoes, as I have no plans on riding this any great distance.

  • How does it ride? I want a go!

  • I've only ridden up the street so far, i'll let you know after my ride to work tomorrow

  • Victory, looking sweet.

Stem only looks odd because it is higher than it is long, off you see what i mean.

  • I like it! Well done.

Ok, well, just be careful, I found riding a lo pro the equivalent to fitting a racey exhaust to a Datsun... Makes you wanna live FAST!

  • finally

now i am well jelly and want to build something like that for myself!..

  • Love it! good effort, I like the wheels, they really suit it. maybe mirror polish deeeeep but I don't think carbon would suit the frame...?

regarding the pedals, have you tried doublestraps and quad gate if you don't want clipless? I wear size 13 and have never had any issues.

I haz some all black Eighthinch track pedals (wide for big feet) with BLB double straps and quad cages if you want to try them out...

  • Simultaneously tasteful and rad (except the pedals), I like it.

I reckon you will want a longer stem though.

  • Love it. Even the pedals and straps.

    Good Job!
