Lodz is town in Poland (actually I live here) and Spolem is polish network of groceries, they are sponsoring sport club I think.I tried to buy one frame from them but they were like 'gtfo kid'.
methinks you got this from bicicletta (from what I know he's dolan bikes dealer and does great piece of business trading old polish steel from clubs and letting it go to england in change of new english cabron).
I'm super stoked on this frame, how are you going to build it up? risers and nitto :D ?

It will be risers yes, but sadly not nitto sadly, the italian BB threading says no. Apparently no-one makes a 103mm italian threaded JIS BB.

also I have no intention of re-painting it.

It's 17:30 in our time zone on a monday afternoon..

I know what time it is and being drunk at monday afternoon may not sound reasonable, but friend of mine is getting married and we spent all weekend at the seaside drinking (I highly recommend this lifestyle - I mean drinking, not getting married).
But hey, I'm still wasted and still able to make understandable sentence in english.
Oj, and spolem has velodrome which is quite awesome, we bribed a guard and had a few rides in there (training is too big word because there was only one proper track bike with drop bars, rest of us had bullhorns, risers, brakes, mudguards etc.it was hell of a fun to spend independence day - 11th november in Poland riding in circles while in Warsaw some guys were rioting, burning cars that belong to tv stations, destroying pubs etc)
having all these facts in mind, that you own a frame from club from my town I'm really happy and waiting impatiently to see it built up.

Turns out its my wheels and seatpost from Doctor P., which, whilst I'm still excited to receive, aren't quite as thrilling as a the frame.

seattube lug/cluster definitely looks MAX, and so do top/bottom tubes
fork, when you look at it from behind (second pic), it's clearly got MAX leg, so don't be set off by the fork crown shape

here mine, and here's a merkx MAX frame, they do look the same.
If is there anyway that i can find out for sure?
