Is that Mavic starfish actually a track crank as well, or is it technically a conversion?
-
• #191
there was only one version produced
-
• #192
Yesss, so was that one version marketed to be used as both road and track crank arm, like that ebay seller is suggesting?
Or just road like I'd expect? -
• #193
yes.. there are bushings/spacers between the two chainrings, which are held only by the allen part of the chainringbolts which screw directly in the cranks
.. very sleek, shame they're 130bcd though.. but you can mount only one chainring by leaving the bushings out and only screwing one chainring to the cranks.. -
• #194
ahh I see, hopefully it looks nice on :)
-
• #195
they look rad on this so i hope they'll look good on my bike
-
• #196
That does look pretty rad tbf
-
• #197
ok, great, now that we've got JordanCaroll's approval, spotter, please proceed with crank installation
-
• #198
^Btw thanks for not answering my question, dw someone who actually knew replied.
Tbf your advice hasn't got the best pedigree judging from the previous page so I'm not too worried.

EDIT: sorry I'm derailling your thread
You're in your right aye, as they're not "track".. Track means stampd track, not modified road.. Even the dumbwits at ebay should know that..
