I'm going to take the train to Germany, visit a friend of mine for a few days, then go to Karlsruhe, again by train, then I guess train from there. And probably train all the way back to London.

I see guys on fixed gears in town sometimes. Really like the look of it. It's like their at one with the road. How do you make your bike fixed?

Berlin's night-time court. I don't know if this has been posted. They've had it since around Jan / Feb. Great size. Masses of raked seating on one side. Polished floor means it'll be slippery when wet or dusty, but awesome when dry.

It looks similar to Konstanz? I'm pretty sure there's this awesome thing in Germany where you register a sports club and your city has to give you a suitable facility to train within (a club house with access on X nights of the week, etc).

Yeah, Rik said they became constituted as a sports club in order to get it booked every week. They get the keys to the toilets / showers.

Yorgo, they play at the 'Poststadion' (ex-stadium of Hertha BSC, main football club of Berlin), Lehrter Strasse, in fact quite near to "Hauptbahnhof", B.'s central station.
