Woop, call me nostradamus!
"If she don't broke her collarbone again, i bet a beer she gonna win it."By the way, Basel was really great, there is room for 4 top class courts over there, and one covered with official hockey electronic scoreboard, timer, and seats for 1'000 people i presume. Think they should step up for one of the major tourney next summer.
(eddisons are really hard to beat twice in a row...) -

Wow, those courts sound perfect for a big international tourney!

What is this, and anyone know who is behind it?

I messaged them, and they said they represent Hardcourt Bike Polo in the UK. Judging from the page, and the site, it seems somehow related to Nottingham Bike Polo. Does anyone know them?
Obviously they have every right to do that, it just seems a bit strange (unless I'm just out of the loop on this one)

Dunno, I added them as a friend to see the other day but am none the wiser.
-
• #1291
Their Instagram takes other people's images and posts them without credit. They seem like lazy and dishonest people.
-
• #1292
I wonder what they had for lunch today?
-
• #1293
All (hilarious) joking aside, if they "represent" polo in the UK, doesn't that entail us having given consent?
-
• #1294
I give mine. Represent away beautiful strangers.

Given that there is no formal UK polo organisation, I don't see how. In theory we are just a random group of players, there is nothing (legally) stopping someone from claiming they are some official UK bike polo organisation (unless maybe all cycle sport has to be BC ratified, or something, not sure, IANAL)
I don't think that is this person's intention, but who knows.

Anyone claiming to represent Hardcourt Bike Polo in the UK is pretty alarming to be honest and I've had to keep tabs on several wild cards only vaguely related to our sport this year. Basically, it should be a kick up the arse for us to get ourselves organised...sorry I dropped the ball on this last month when we should have had a UK AGM. Maybe the Friday evening at Cambridge would be a good time for this?
