Cheers, it did make a mess, I couldn't understand where the pool of blood came from since as far as I was concerned I'd only just gone down. The Isleworth A&E people were very good - concussion seems to get you to jump the queue. Suspect I came close to breaking my nose as well, that's still pretty sore. I did reflect that a cycle helmet would have been useful...

That MASSIVE hill is only 1 mile long avg 4.5% max 8.5%. This route has a few inclines, not hills.
