When was that then?
That part of my youth was 1998-2004. Its focus was booze and boys: some might say that not a great deal has changed. I feel old when friends get married and/or decide to squeeze a child out.

I'm /quite/ sure you're about the same age as me... which isn't old. Then again that's probably something old people say.

Speak up, I can't hear you.

I enjoyed that a lot, but it was perhaps a tad brutal for a Tuesday night spin
Felt tough at the time, but I really enjoyed last night. Confess that the ride home from work tonight was a little laboured.

It wasn't a Tuesday, but I spotted a badger on my ride last night.

I spotted a ripe one on my ride yesterday afternoon. Smelt it before I saw it :/
-
• #2138
The one I saw was most definitely alive (and somewhat curious as to why someone was hurtling down a bridlepath in the gloaming).
-
• #2139
did it yell 'boo'?
-
• #2140
Badgers don't boo! they attack in silence, you'll get no warnings, if you're lucky you'll just about see a flash of black and white before your world is destroyed forever.

...or you dive into a bunch of knettles (sp?)

• #2142
Boo!

Been pretty dry for a while so thinking about Killing me Soft Lea for next week if we have a volunteer to lead - I haven't done it before and it looks like the kind of route that a garmin would struggle with. Alternatively i was thinking WGC with the optional sainsburys climb...

I can lead that one.
But I will be in the Austrian Alps singing sound of music songs whilst skipping through the meadows.
Doh.

Be careful, they pretend to be dead and then pounce. Tidy little crew the badgers.
We lost forum fav, Damo, to them. So sad. He is greatly missed.

I heard he was a cunt.

• #2148
A little one though

They sabotaged his front brake and he was never seen again
