1,112g 50mm wheelset, in road trim.
They'll happily supply Novatec track hubs, going to be around £400 delivered I would imagine.

Here was the set up I had for The Hunt crit on Sunday. I'm contemplating giving it a coating of paint - or something. Wearing lycra shorts caused a build of static electricity which discharged each time my legs came into contact with the frame. I think it stopped after a while but was definitely a strange sensation. Yep, I still have the original forks.

Anodize it, you'll see no difference in the looks but the frame will be much better for feel and use!
-
• #157
That's bizarre, I've not experienced any static on the mash...
-
• #158
I thought you stripped it to save weight? Now you're adding more weight?

You should paint the frame mainly white with blue seat stays and seat cluster and then add a couple of red highlights. It'd match the fork and look pretty sweet. Get some Cinelli stickers made up too...

If he did, and you didn't seize the opportunity to max black his forks... then sumo, I am disappoint.

• #163
I don't really understand what you mean by maxing.

Oh, Max Black.

• #166
Sorry, would've put the little "TM" but ironically don't know how...

Yes, you did!

Sorry, I still haven't Max Blacked ™ the forks. This is what it looked like for the Open Season racing at Herne Hill last weekend. Sometimes I regret the stripping but I've kind of fallen in love with the raw aluminium. Looks best with black components, I think.

Must've been a lots lighter with the paint removed.

It was. Felt like a feather. Not to mention the huge decrease in frontal area from removing the layers of paint. Aero.
In some cases, sure, but in London, not so much, I highly doubt you'll benefit from a deep section wheel other than the extra stiffness.
