You wouldn't actually wear it just take a hit every now and then during a game.

I think that's the same as the Cheshire one, go for it, it's pretty much ready for polo

i'd like to buy/rent any cheap old hybrid/mtb. it's to teach a number of friends how to ride. only one gear setting needed to work. as a matter of fact, a freewheel ss would be perfect.
4 individuals in my close circles are adults who can't ride. it's about time i fixed that.
edit: sorry this is in the wrong thread! (this programmer isn't smart enough work around this whole tabs business)

Cheers Tun! Just finished my helmet also, now I can actually hear stuff!
There's a coupl'a cheap ones at work I could put some pics up tomorrow if you'd like? They're like £50 each I think, some'd make a decent polo bikes (Well, working ones, mine is one we had in) so I'll post 'em up in case anyone needs a cheap polo frame but they might work for your project Salman, good cause if ever there was one!
-
• #461
sure, will! that's about the price range i'm looking for.

Good work WJ, let us know if there are any 26" varieties, I think I'm probably after a 16" frame. £50 is good, should be able to sell something for that.
Wife for sale: Shite at ironing but often pleasant, always attractive and usually baking award winning cakes, £200 ono

Is polo on tonight? No list just wondering

I need to meet rob to get my (properly tensioned) wheels and leave my bike at Nate's so I'll be up for some non-contact low-risk drills... I'll text Rob and check.
-
• #468
Rob's out so I'll need to drive to Levenshulme, so earliest I think I'll be at the court would be 7:45. I'll check the thread before I leave his.
-
• #469
Cool, is anyone else down there? Probs head out in about 10 mins, at court for... 7.30 ish
-
• #470
I thought it was off tonight so wasn't planning on heading out.
-
• #471
Ah beggar, have to come down from Crumpsall so if people reckon it's off I probs wont come down, I've still got Adam's spare mallet, when would you like that back man? Next Thurs ok or do you need it for Bristol?
-
• #472

-
• #473
next thurs is fine, i've got the pole you bought to collect in Bristol if i really need...

Not sure if there will be enough folks for Sunday to make sense either. If there are a few of us then a skills session or knockabout game is an option but we'll also need to nab a key or choose another court to play on.

This Sunday's the only Sunday I can't make in near future, can make next Thurs though
Texted the p7 guy, it's a 1999, might be retro enough for Neil.
Also I'd want that helmet to smell of your expensive shampoo.
