samples for mallet shaft end plugs have arrived, they fit perfectly and are nice and rounded, I'll throw them at the floor later and see how they hold up. Do we need 1000 though? probably not

I'm tempted to add another head and shaft to the order but could really do without spending the money, if they were a bit cheaper I'd stretch to it. It was 20 heads for the free postage offer so we'd still need another 7. I think some people need them pronto to get them built before the tourney which might further complicate things.

Ok, just to complicate things further, Me & Ste are going to order 10M of MDPE which is the light weight black piping a lot of london use, doesn't need to be drilled out to save weight, as its super light, but does wear out a bit quicker, we can probably do 1 metre lengths for about £5 (enough for 7 heads)

Oh and re. collection, i'm trying to work out with LHBPA & Salman whether its possible when he's in London on Friday, this won't be for everything just for people who NEED things before Bristol, the rest can be collected in Bristol

Hmmm.. So I could spend £14 on two shafts and get a length of that MDPE for £5 and make a load of heads and replace them as they go.. This is sounding the better option for the budget and also the spirit of experimentation. I'd be up for a bit of that action.

My current head is pretty worn and distorted so I'd rather get some playing time with the new ones before Bristol.
