  • thank god for polo connections. thanks ben & rory

  • fuck... have you made that wose fer t'pic or did that happen on the ride home?

  • nah they were fine the whole way home. literally only took a little push to break them though, even with my puny spaghetti arms

  • Since a lot of the regular players are away in Munich and Berlin for the next week or so i was thinking we should have a few gentle beginner sessions for people so anyone who might be worried about coming along and not being good can get a bit of unpressured practice in before the others come back....

I was thinking Thursday at Platt Fields at 7?

  • I agree with Stephens ratings. I think Whitworth is the best in terms of availability and location. Only down side is surface.

  • platt fields sounds good to me, im off thursday. theres the question of bikes though, ive obviously not got one and ste is in germany so i dont know if we can get to the loaner

  • Sounds good, I miss polo!
Will text the 2 bobs and see if they are up for it too!

  • Si should be around (he lives with ste) so the loaner is hopefully available

Thursday Platt Fields (cause it might be a bit wet) 7pm

  • is anyone free tomorrow to give whitworth court a clean, good weather permitting?
(weeding, raking away the broken glass at the entrances and sweeping whatever else)
I'll bring the gloves and other stuff to do it with.

wow.... how long will it take!? dont want to be hanging around too much beore polo.

  • derp not thinking right. wednsday tommorow.

  • Fog Lane Park and Ladybarn Park might be worth a scout to

  • has the idea ever been brought up of us making our own court? was looking through some london threads the other day and found one (can't remember which) where people were talking about finding an unused piece of land, getting permission from the council to use it, then filling in holes/putting up barriers etc. was chatting to chucklebruv last night and he had some ideas of places... just a thought like.
