i think Marek should definitely play provided he can afford to travel to Geneva

ste i know u have told me about this before but i still dont remember playing these games. Did Mango Sharks play with colin? Who are mango Sharks now?Were Le mallet jaune, Doomallets, Hip Replacements and 2 Beer rule involved? When did we play all these games and dont you think that seeing as most of the other teams that have formed in the last month or so have drastically improved in that period it is maybe unfair on them to be judged on performance a few months ago in a few random throw ins when everyone wasnt there and the teams were different?

i agree with ben, manchester polo has changed a lot even in just the past 2 months. since we have the ability to, why not have a round-robin between all teams that are able and willing to go to geneva next week, any single players without teams or without teammates that can go can form their own qualification team. not all the games need to be played on the same night, but all games should have someone there to ref/keep score

I don't care about playing again. can't do it this week though.
2 beer rule didn't play when we played for GVA before, but then they didnt fill in interest to go to geneva so i don't think they should be able to play. I know it's a bit harsh but Geneva asked for people to fill out interest forms and X amount of people filled them in. surely only those people should be able to contest for the places for Geneva? seeing as we were given our allocation due to the number of people who showed interest?

teams for MCR EHBPC Geneva qualies (alter if necessary)

1. Netto - chan, mirek, adam

personally i don't mind 2 beer rule or any other team/mixed team making a run for it provided they can and will travel to geneva july 17-18. the teams that go will be in for a lot tougher competition there than what will happen between ourselves

On the interest form i filled out maybe and that i was in Mango Sharks which i dont think i am in anymore. People like sophie, yoav etc arent on the forum and might not have known about the form, who is able and wants to go to geneva? lets all fill in this list and then we will have a better idea of what the hell we are actually arguing about...

yes... let's actually have a chat when we're all together... will make for a much more open discussion... Personally i'm happy for the best players (irrespective of form filling or current teams) to get a chance to go to Geneva if they are willing and able....

Seems like everyone has suddenly gotten alot more interested in polo recently and now think regardless of their commitment or interest in geneva before should be able to go to the euros? seems slightly unfair on the people, that played for a place won and has thought for the last few months that they were defiantly going.

Like i said... just my personal opinion... everyone else will have theirs.. this is why we need to have a discussion about it together....

well, don't worry. You've qualified anyway, and your willing to play again. The only thing we (netto) need to find out is if Mirek can come (or wants to come) to Geneva. Then if it turns out loads more teams can go like 2 beer rule and doom mallets then we can play off again. I'm sure rich and craig won't be up for going anyway, rich even said that in the above posts. It would be great if marek could make it, but he has indicated that he might not be able to afford it

oh, n on the geneva front. I'd like to go and am able to, but I know full well I'm not in the best 6 players and cba with the hassle.

Hannah i specifically remember you being the one who thought it was unfair netto and asbo automatically went through so we played a deciding game.

I'm not saying they didn't happen, just that I don't remember them. Chances are it only lasted 2 minutes anyway so not much to remember.

my view on teams, leave them, people can decide their own teams. my view on geneva, netto should have one place if they want of couurse, other people who want to go can put their names in a hat to make the next team?
