(plus you have to bear in mind who is able/wants to travel to tourneys- some people that would be awesome in a team are less able to travel so can't really be included in the team thing innit)

I think it might be a good idea if people say what kind of team they want to play in and how much travelling they want to do before we do this, or even if they want to be in one at all. eg, don't want to be in a team, want to be in a team but no tourneys, only uk tourneys, world domination etc.

oh, n can't make another practice tonight, but am off to go knock a ball around at about 3 at whitworth if anyone else is free.

A thought from a new guy, and one not staying (and suddenly quite sad about it), last nights knock about reminded me of why I started (and kept) playing - the sheer pleasure of it. After the anxiety of the weekend, as awesome as it was mind you, a bit of time just being loose on the court cleared away all the residual negative feelings I had. Jesus I was shitting bricks before every game over the weekend, and the self recriminations and blame that was going through my mind afterwards was poisonous. So it was fantastic to just race about being a dick last night without it meaning anything.

Before everyone gets too caught up in team changes etc, come play some mixed up stupidness, give yourselves time to enjoy yourselves.

Urgh I didn't wanna come on thursday but i guess i'll have to drop in now.
I guess the most important thign to work out is who is wanting to go to which tourneys etc.

I'm happy to stay with my team tbh, we just need to work on some things. Both Mirek and me have had stress off court recently so i guess we aren't super focused at the moment, and adam was stressed with the tourney. Personally i think we played ok, we only lost one game. If we have more team nights then netto can work on playing as a team more.

I had thought about potentially reshuffling teams but speaking for myself here, i'm more that happy to stay with adam/mirek and work on our play. I.e, me passing more and sharing goal duties. Am i'm sure both Mirek and Adam have things they can work on. Cambridge is just around the corner so i see no reason to change for that, just start playing more as a team. I think netto only played together about 4 times in the lead up to the uk champs, and if we want to do well then we need to increase that.

You guys are funny. Lets all quit and let those Londoners have all the glory! No way, I know what I'm going to do I'll keep playing polo for fun and maybe win some games. If not who cares. If I have a goose bums from nice polo that's enough for me. (I still want to beat Cosmics, don't get me wrong) :-)
