That Darwin could have saved himself a foreign holiday by studying the contents of my keyboard is just a viscous rumour. It's still considerably cleaner than my sense of humour...

Rob we've already got Graeme. No need to recruit existing players.

I dunno, as much as lefty bullshit should be banned. Where the fuck was he?
-
• #33
I would like to think training up his right side.
-
• #34
I'm considering going lefty just to fuck people off. It also leaves more clearance on the right side for 'defensive' shoulder placement and is the logical side to play on from the wings. Mixing it up within a team could really work tactics wise.

Lefties are wrong, don't strive to become one. Also, you'd surely want your good hand for mallet control?
-

This is part of the motivation. I've broken the scaphoid in my left wrist twice and it does ache a bit after a good ride or a session on the court. Riding one handed I'm putting my not inconsiderable mass on the weakest wrist. In terms of control I've got almost non on the right side at the moment and need to learn, might as well take the hit early and go left.
That it pisses you off so much is just added motivation :-p

So lefty = ban under some regions?? The joust is a valid concern and I can see the need to at the very least inform the other team or to let other members of the team take the lead with them. Saying that if I get across the ball by getting there faster then sod em. From a tactical stance though I see nothing but win in general play, nicking the ball from behind becomes a lot easier...
What's the score with ambidextrous? Would switching mid play when going down the left wing for example be seen as evil?

The reason it costs this year is because Sky aren't paying for it. The organisers are the same promotions company that do the Great North Run. I just wonder how much of a cut the council is getting. I mailed them yesterday asking if they did student or unemployed discount.
Still bloody tempted to do a bit with the MEN showing you can buy a bike for less than doing that ride, I found a couple of MTB's on Gumtree for £20 yesterday, one of them even looked ghetto polo conversion friendly. When GMCC have asked to close roads before they got told no chance, as soon as corporations get involved they'll even close the Mancunian way.

Stolen bikes thread>>>>>>>>>>
I think there is a rule disallowing the switching of hands mid game, although I'm not 100% sure. Lefties do have an advantage in that people aren't as used to playing against them so sometimes play the same way as against a real person and forget they can steal the ball easier that way. They also have the same disadvantage in that a real person can get the ball more easily if they get the correct side of them and if you play it right you can get the correct side of a lefty and shield the ball easily.

^Makes an old krusty sad :( Have you heard his newer stuff?? Whichever one is trying to cash-in played at Beatherder last year. Enjoyable but only because of the quality of the drugs coupled with the nostalgia fator. Bless 'im, he tried to write a dubstep number. Even a sad aul dad like me knows that's passe :D

Dubstep is just bad Drum and Bass for the kids who never got to enjoy loading Jetset Willy on a 48k from tape.
I got diddled a while back with the Stereo MC's at that church place in plat fields. Turned out to be just one of them trying to be a DJ, deep down and dreary.
