I was also looking to organize an alleycat on friday! no fees, no rules just fun! A good chance to get to know a bit more about Brighton, and have a few pints to celebrate. I´ll post more details in the next couple of days.
I would be nice to have an idea on how many people would like to participate :)

I'm sure this has been answered before but is it ok to camp? Also do you have a post code?

They are meeting right now cam, after they are going to send out accommodation emails which will include camping info.
So far at least me James, joni and Adam have expressed an interest in wild ( ie free!) camping and that's just Londoners..

Been doing some google maps browsing and there's a place not to far from the courts called great wood (to the north west of the court), I can see a car park in the centre, do you think we'd get away with camping their for a couple of nights?

I know. I didn't know how to send messages to Harvey's typewriter so thought you might be able to forward it/send it on by carrier pidgeon.

That spot looks good to me too... slightly nearer to the courts, lots of wooded coverage and I spy a tea room!

Stanmer Park Nature Reserve? Bet there are restrictions on overnight stays there. Even the Google photo car looks like it is being followed by a park ranger in a Landy!!!! Any thoughts locals?..... -

Looking good guys! It´s going to be an amazing weekend!
I can host a team at my house. I must say thought, its a shared flat and although we have the top floor and you can sleep on the living room, the house is own by a old man and maybe not so keen on noise or commotion. But you are wellcome to stay in for the tourney. Those interested send me a PM.
