Haha, yeah.. Even you can Ed ;)
I'm prob gonna get flamed here but I actually like you're build mate! Do you run it SS or fixed? Who did you get to do the braze-ons? Cheers! -

Fixed wheel, especially with two brakes, I wax lyrical about the benefit of fixed with two brakes a lots, I don't believed that the conventional wisdom of fixed with just front brakes is good enough.
Brazing done by a small framebuilder in deptford for about £40-60 including the rack mount, brakes, and cable guard.
weight of the whole bike? a modest 8.8kg.

Very nice. Why fixed though and not just ss seeing you're using two brakes?
I love this one from Chari n Co:http://www.chariandconyc.net/blog/cyclocross-brooklyn-machine-works-gangsta/#more-606
Did you ever use canti brakes or you always prefer the ones you have on atm?

Because fixed wheel and two brakes are very underrated, while the UK law stated that fixed wheel with a front brake is legal, it doesn't mean it's the best and only option.
descending for example is actually quite comfortable with two brakes, being able to let your legs rest occasionally is another benefit I discovered on century ride.

I did, as great as the modulation from the cantis, the very short chainstay of my small BMW mean that there's not much room for a cable hanger let alone fabricated one, as well as the cantis arm often get in the way of my shoes.
the lack of modulation from the mini v-brake make up for the temerariousamount of braking power right on the limitation of the tyres,

Ah I see. Cheers for explaining, gives me something to think about now for sure.. Is your one used as a daily ride too? I'm contemplating what to do with my bikes atm..

I havz stickers.. Bought them in the end from the decal company who's link I posted earlier. Put them on but tbh they were a right f*cker to sort. They're not one solid sticker either unfortunately, each little bit is individually cut out so I'm thinking their longevity isn't going to be anything to write home about.. They do, however, break up the black monotony and look pretty good :) pics to come

Here's a photo of the stickered V1. I have more but unfortunately they're not loading just now..
I think they look decent but unfortunately they wear extremely badly and are chipping and cracking even after such a short period of time :( if it were one complete sticker I think it'd fair better.
Also jut put on a new front tyre (Conti Grand Prix 4000s, 25c) and super light tubes so have shaved off about 200g..

So I want to get her back up and running in a slightly new guise. The Chas is great but there's something about the V1 that just does it for me and I think it'd take a lot for me to be able to part with her! This is what I'm thinking:
- new paint, something signal/neon orange or light blue/seafoam green. Keep forks black
- hopefully new decals from BMW themselves
- omniumsssmmmums. Black, 165mm (or should I stick with s75s?)
- hplus archetypes (love em so much!) on chubs front and rear (I know we have chubz haterz but I think they go great on the gangsta and have never had any issues with them)
Suggestions and good ideas appreciated!

So are touring frame.
Can't wait to go back to Sacramento to ride mine again, I sincerely think it was the most comfortable "track" bicycle I've ridden.
