Such a teasing shot of the Park Bike in the background, love to see more of that one.

The colour of the park bike looks lovely although I always picture them being park tool blue, is it rideable yet?

The Park Bike.. Cheapest build I could do and it worked out pretty well bar some gash parts. Massive fun to tank around and not having to worry about doing the rims in etc!
More photos on my flickr if interested..

Built around a longer fork surely?

I saw a dude riding a chrome BMW park through angel about 8 months ago. Doing massive curb jumps and turn downs off the sidewalk. Cool as fuck I'm jealous of you! CSB

Park bike looks like a lot of fun :)

Cheers gents, it's well fun!
Built it around 24" specific forks to keep a lower Bmx/street geo. Don't think it'll see many big jumps so a slacker/taller front end isn't that necessary at this point -
• #287
those frames were designed around a 65mm travel fork iirc, but they have such a high BB you would get away with those 24" forks no problem, although the HT angle is pretty severe! also the crank arm spindles are out slightly ;-)

also now this thread has been bumped, how are the atomic22s working for you? very tempted to invest but oh so pricey
-
• #289
I've got them all over my Brooklyn and very happy with them. Combined with a mini fagh, I feel confident about leaving it locked up anywhere
-
• #291
@dakin @swedeee: I have Atomic22 security bolts on my Brooklyn too. I have the stem faceplate, topcap, seatpost and saddle secured. It costs about £150 for that set up which is totally worth it for the peace of mind. I still lock up both wheels and frame but I don't have to worry about my components going missing.
-
• #293
I think I'd go for wheels, topcap and seatpost.
That's a good balance of price vs security. :)
Though not sure if they make bolts that would fir BLB king hubs
Yeah they don't make bolts for Profile hubs which is why my wheels aren't secured. Still, means I have to carry two locks so my frame is even more secure I suppose.

• #294
apparently you can get custom made.
The BLB hubs just use M8 bolts so that may well be the same as another hub I'm guessing too as it seems a pretty standard bolt size...
-
• #295
ooh i didnt know they did stem faceplate aswell!
essentially I would like front wheel, seatpost and topcap (i see they make crank bolts aswell haha crazy). i would probably do rear wheel aswell but can you get enough torque? can you get bolts for goldtec hubs?
-
• #296
This makes me want a bike like this!
...just need to find a reason to get one!
-
• #297
Yup atomic22 do goldtec too.

I thought so too but they told me they aren't able to make bolts for my hubs, at least for the time being. They said that Profile security bolts would come sometime in the future when they have hubs to work with.
I think Tom got the bolts for his Chub hubs made however I imagine bolts for the Chubs would be in greater demand than some old school Profile track hubs.
@swedeee From what I understand you can get enough torque for the rear. I'm not sure if they do Goldtec hubs but I'd imagine so, given their popularity. You can find out by going through the rigmarole on their website or dropping them an email; they're very helpful.
Also, there's an Atomic22 thread here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/181639/ :)

nice one man, appreciate it both dom and indra

Both hubs, seatpost, cranks and stem topcap. I'm holding off getting the stem faceplate as I might change the stem. They don't seem to have one for the top of the Brooklyn seatpost so the saddle is still exposed, but I'll do something about that
Can't wait!!
