I bought mine from Hilly Ben, he had another set (cheaper because they had been chopped at the end to accomodate whatever brakes, but still good) pm him, maybe he still has them...

So the latest incarnation of LES, was this:
http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/5462/o5s4.jpgPicture was taken at the HHSB ride last summer.
I recently came accros a nice track wheelset. I decided to fix LES. But I will keep the geared wheelset as well and all the gear bits, it's actually quite quick to do the conversion.
I rode it like this to work today, and despite the nonsense gearing (52X16) it was quite nice. Don't shout at me about the braking surface: the previous owner had converted the track hubs to road, and used brakes with them, a sacrilege but what is done is done. I got the wheelset for very cheap, but I had to spend nearly 60 quid to get campag specific stuff! (campag lockring - I did not want the Miche kinda compatible version - campag rear track axle and campag track nuts) I haven't converted back the front wheel to track, if I ever use it on the track, hex nuts will do (alternatively if someone has an old broken front campag hub with useable axles and nuts, we could do buisness).
26 spokes, laced to campagnolo omega rims. I love these wheels!http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/3156/vnwa.jpg

I need to change that saddle for something that doesn't look out of scale like this one... I really don't like it...

Looking Lovely Loic!

I need something that looks bigger. With sides that go down and cover the rails. I shouldn't look to slim/aerial on this bike I feel, for some reason...
I was thinking of that actually

Concor always going to look good so it's a safe bet.

Might be interested in this saddle for something French, monsiuer. If it's going back in a pile somewhere, that is.

I found an old photos of LES;

Ha - you stalker! I remember you taking that! I miss ol' Lesley - though I don't think my back does.

Fitted a Concor (thanks Patrick) to Les and I like it much better... Photos aren't great, but...

Next step, a beefier stem. A bit shorter maybe too.
-
• #193
I could see more modernen brakes, the bullhorn more in erection and nicer crankset
I love ITM stems or a titanium ones.
the yellow pontet is too much for me ; )
nice wheels véllo. -

I actually have an ITM ellipse stem, but it's too long saddly.
For the brakes, I recently found a pair of amazingly nice dura ace ax ones like this
But one bit of the cable hanger is missing and I need to make it somehow from scratch. I was also more tempted to used them on my Roberts rather than the lo-pro, but have not decided yet...
That crankset was real cheap, but it's not bad... Nothing special, but it kind-of work overall (It's a Peugeot badged Stronglight with some crazy obsolete BCD)
What is a "pontet"? Is it the extra rear brake bridge? It's got some yellow sticker on because I had to file down a redundant cable stop... faut cacher la misere non?
-

cache la zermi zincou ; )pontet is brake or brake-less bridge
DA AX brakes do not brake ther are masturbation.
I like CLB or campy or RX100, 600, DA...brakesfor the crankset the shim 600 is glossy and easy to find
Since I saw the rat one I can not prevent myself from wanting to see the les with some scatchs...
look how I had ratify my old working bike SLX

There is so many cycling related words I know in english but not in french, this is annoying sometimes. Thanks for clarifying, and yes I'll keep the yellow sticker for now, many another idea will pop-up to hide misery...

I like CLB or campy or RX100, 600, DA...brakesExcellent! That makes sense, they are porn brakes after all...
Who needs to brake anyway. Maybe I'll put the old campy nuevo record I have on the Roberts - like this
http://www.flickr.com/photos/8729526@N02/7323648958/
and use the masturbation ones on the Roberts, I'm sure it will look amazing and more appropriate than on LESfor the crankset the shim 600 is glossy and easy to find
Is the stronglight that bad? It really doesn't bother me and the chain line is spot-on, I can't be bothered getting into this, until I come accross something cheap at some jumble... I'll keep it in mind.
Since I saw the rat one I can not prevent myself from wanting to see the les with some scatchs...
I don't disagree... Will make sure the bike is getting used.

Les is getting sillier... Forward seatpost arrived yesterday (found on ebay). I much prefer the riding position now... How to describe the look / style of the bike though... some kind of conspiracy of proportion disaster and looks kinda serious... Whatever, I like it...
L
(I think I want to put it back soon in geared mode)
