Egg - good, if im not bounced for finishing a bottle of vodka before
Fabric - to minimal, crowd to big, mostly rude forruns in there.
MoS - awesome
the end - wicked night!

best beat night and MC was at Fabric.

I've never went to The End or MoS as I was never into the whole techno/dance thing.
I went to Fabric for d&b and leftfield breakbeat strictly.
When the uk garage kicked in I went few times to Coliseum in Vauxhall (scary) and then Gas Club (Zed Bias and such). Apart from that it was Mass, as I lived in World's End and then Battersea!

I once saw someone killed outside Fabric at kicking out time. I will never forget the voices of those guys involved - they'd turned a bit demonic. I think they both knew one of them wasn't going to walk away from it.

I witnessed stabbing at Coliseum (Colosseum). They threw the guy through the window.

I did, partially. Loads of people did. The fight broke out right outside and got out of hand immediately. Most people ignore fights but lots were trying to intervene as it was clearly very serious. They dispersed and then when we were walking down the road we saw one of them slumped in an alley, stabbed. Next day we heard on the news he'd died. It was truly awful.

That sort of thing never happened at Club Montepulciano.

It certainly never happened at Hollywoods in Romford.

Blokes either had fisticuffs in the car park or got sucked off round the back of the club. Sometimes both.

Never went to Time. It was full of kids consuming oddly coloured drinks and cheap amphetamines.

Envy was altogether a different kettle of fish. Plenty of lower league footballers in there. It lacked the atmosphere that Hollywoods had. I'll never forget those nights.

Ha, was reminiscing about Gas and Coliseum the other day. A good mixture of footballers, off Mosch and stabbyness.

The Wag was one of the first indoor experiences of being in a terrible mess.

I heard that the the refit of Plastic People has totally messed uop the sound system and made the dancr floor about half the size of what it was - for me these days, it's all about smaller venues where you know most of the people inside -Black Box, Question mark, The Hub, and Hoxton Basement are all good on the right nights. I've been following particluar nights much more than clubs recently, the night might move from venue to venue to warehouse, but the people are the same nice crowd.
