6pt can't walk. Once he unclips he's like a newborn fawn.
"put me back on my bike"
:)
Done so much riding lately that I'm beginning to feel a very odd 'one-ness' with my bicycle. Bordering on the unhealthy. I can still walk though, but stairs are problematic ;)

i am guessing the testing ain't too stringent...
it must be mental. with that level of sleep deprivation, you get hallucinations and shit...
During race, I am going crazy, definitely,’’ he says, smiling in bemused despair. ‘‘I cannot explain why is that, but it is true.’’
The craziness is methodical, however, and Robic and his crew know its pattern by heart. Around Day 2 of a typical weeklong race, his speech goes staccato.
By Day 3, he is belligerent and sometimes paranoid. His short-term memory vanishes, and he weeps uncontrollably.
The last days are marked by hallucinations: bears, wolves and aliens prowl the roadside; asphalt cracks rearrange themselves into coded messages. Occasionally, Robic leaps from his bike to square off with shadowy figures that turn out to be mailboxes.
In a 2004 race, he turned to see himself pursued by a howling band of black-bearded men on horseback.

A friend from uni did Paris-Brest and he said 10 miles from a rest stop he slammed on the brakes in the middle of a group as he hallucinated a tree falling in the road. Everyone narrowly avoided a massive pile up, and his girlfriend had to pretty much push him along the last 10 miles.
I've almost killed myself avoiding an imaginary herd of cows running on to the road.

Also, is anyone else having difficulty getting Strava to sync with Facebook? It used to work for me and now it doesn't.

Out of curiousity, why would you want it to?

Street cred, obvs.

Take something at the start, out of your system by the finish?
-

Then enjoy a spliff whilst the sun comes up?
Standard.

Because I have friends who cycle, but use things like mapmyride rather than Strava. Facebook is common to us all.

Depends what it is and when/how they do the testing.
Thinking along the lines of stimulants which are easily detectable, you wouldn't be taking them early on anyway.

I love it when people upload 0.7 mile ride 5 times a day. that's really interesting.
-
• #896
May I refer you to my anti-commute rant of many weeks ago.
-
• #897
0.7 mile isn't a commute, that's going to the corner shop
