A couple of clubmates liked how I named last night's activity

I don't understand the "KUDOS ALL THE RIDES!" thing. I've got two people who I don't know following me that give me Kudos for absolutely anything I upload.
One of mine is Dave from Wales and my connection to him is that, like 5000+ other people in the country, he does Audax.
No more from Dave as I read elsewhere that he has died (no details, only that he was a semi regular Audaxer and in his 40s). RIP Dave.

Are KOM dead?
Guessing this isn't a new topic but I've just started using strava again and annoy would be too strong a word maybe bugs me some of the ridiculous splits.
Is there a way to view KOM against those you follow or clubs without going in to each segment!? -
• #4307
I've got some set under favorites and view that way. I don't use the mobile when doing that though.

@dancing james Follow request submitted, prepare for kudos!

I just started using Strava 'in anger', combined with a power meter and heart rate strap etc etc, in an effort to get back to riding. Aiming for 2 hill climbs, one indoor training session and a longer ride each week. I must be doing something right, because the Mt Lofty climb seems to go faster every time I try it.

Manually entering hr zones, anyone have any advice? Strava has set my z5 as 97-100% of max and that seems a little unrealistic to me. I was thinking of using:
http://www.flammerouge.je/faqs/faqs_stravazones.htmSeem reasonable?

Changed it now. z1 is huge, but the higher zones seem reasonable. Hasn't backdated the zones, which makes sense as zones might adjust as you gain/lose fitness?

"What did he plan on doing with his precious KOMs when he passed away. Buried with them? Pass them onto his kin as a family heirloom? Donate them to the city?"
Ha!

Amazing, though the guy is clearly unstable or 5 years old.
I like Scott’s calm and polite replies.

Dear me, Brendan needs to grow up.

I love these silly rivalries on Strava, isn't it kinda the point!?
I'm down to one KOM but my arch rival still hasn't been able to reclaim it.Although it bugs be that no data cleaning seems to happen, I used to think people cheated them. I now think most are just technical glitches.

I've got no KOMs and never will. If I can get in the top 30/40 for some fairly obscure short climbs I'm usually pretty happy.

First Rule of KOM's is don't tell anyone youv'e created a segment
Second rule is ch chchain attack
-
• #4320
What's chain attack?
-
• #4321
Ch-ch-ch-chain attack! is where you create routes specifically designed steal people's - or more specifically, Brendan's - KOMs to dishearten and ultimately cyberbully them.
-
• #4322
Somebody tag Rohan Dennis into that conversation and request he goes and ruins Brendan's life some more.
-
• #4324
When you were having pre-marital sex I mastered the chain attack.

Prime chain attack victims, siblings, first school friends, first school rivals and Brendan.
Yeah he gives me kudos for most of my rides too. It's unusual but harmless I guess...
