Please tell me the user's called either ET or Elliot?

just make your segments private and a route that no sane person would do. kom is easy then

No Segments on this, think the GPS was thrown out by all the phones in the stadium...

A little tool that lets you see all your rides over a period of time mapped on one map

I've just joined this after edmundro put me on to it (had the app on my phone for a year never used it). Looking forward to winning some sections.
I noticed there is a follower section on there. Do people use it?
This is me: http://app.strava.com/athletes/858217

You get (optional) emails about what the people you follow have been up to. Not bad.
-
• #1160
I like to stalk my coworkers on it and post mocking comments about their rides (strictly no euphs).

I'm super sick of people recording their every boring trip, blah blah blah...
I'm collecting all my commutes because I'm planning a fun little infographic / art project once I've recorded a few hundred.
It turned out a lot less fun, and a lot more boring than I expected and...
You can't really see anything unless it's full screen and HD, and I still need to add trails, but...

fucksticks, had some ok segments on my commute, select "create privacy zone", best segments inside privacy zones are now deleted. cannot reupload the rides. balls.

But on the positive side, burglars won't stalk you on the internet and steal your bike.

You'll have to move house. It's the only reasonable response.

They're welcome to it. It's worthless now without that 4th overall Coldharbour sprint to its name!

Clearly

Slightly different approach http://app.strava.com/rides/3186645 although with hundreds of train commutes included by the looks of it and therefore a bit more pointless to do than it already would have been

How do you put what bike you have used on a particular ride?
I have saved three bikes onto Strava now, but whenever I upload a ride, the only option I have is to add another new one rather than allocate an existing bike to a ride. Where am I going wrong?
-
• #1169
just save it, then edit ride and switch bike

Oh right yeah.
Damn technology

Agggghhhh.....buried myself in Richmond Park this morning, only for Strava to show that I actually rode an RP-shaped route around Houslow. WTF? Is this the gods of Mars messing with our satellites in response to us disturbing their peace....?

App on a phone or using a Garmin?

how was this made?

They would have "done a Sparky" and stitched a bunch of raw files together in a text editor by hand to produce a single monster journey that they could upload to Strava manually.

App on a phone because I am too tight to shell out for a Garmin mount on the MTB. There probably lies my problem....
"Front gate to front door sprint"
Unrelated, I was idling about yesterday looking for the harder climb segments in London and surrounding areas and I found this awesome category 1 climb: http://app.strava.com/segments/1835621
"Ridden 1 time by 1 person"
wonder what kind of bike he used
