So the next few step -
wide rims (25mm) to be used with a 25-26mm tyres,
low flange hubs,
non-aero brake levers,
TA 50.4BCD crankset
Nitto Noodle handlebar
cloth bar tape from Newbaum (purple).I choose this to be a fixed wheel because it's my favourite kind of bicycle, and I already have a reasonably decent road bicycle, and I would love to do long proper ride on a fixed wheel again like I did with my BMW.

Purple bar tape? Oh Ed....

Have you sold it?

Not yet, it's currently in America, I sold the Open Pro/condor wheelset to make way for a decent wide rims/hubs set.
I have Mavic A319 rims already, but tempting to go for the narrower H+Son TB14.

As far as the decals are concerned, contact Atlantic Boulevard. He's got literally hundreds of decals.

Having a closer look, I now understood why I didn't find it pleasing - the red lug lining were maroon compared to the vivid red of the vinyl.

Nice frame, nice flowers, nice kitchen table.

Oh I realised, I'm thinking of a different type, maybe similar to this;
-
• #12
Little bit like the old Bob Jackson logos
-
• #13
reckon the white one would go very well with the frame, time to chop some potatoes to see how it look.

I like the images of that bird over the lettering.

A griffin I guess

^ genius

• #17
fucking hell, how did you guesses that??
-
• #18
does that green example has bar-end shifters as downtube shifters?
-
• #19
That's not a griffin. It looks like a seagull.
-
• #20
a horny seagull

Put it under a radiator, vinyl peeled easily, quick wipe with alcohol and it's nice and clean;
I measured the bike again and it's a full 1cm longer at 54.5, netherless it'll still fit better than the 56cm TT one I have currently.
Clearance look just about enough with 25c tyres on 25mm rims, my 26c should fit nicely.

Nice Ed, love the colour :)

My Griffin! Apologies for the mis-measurement Ed thats my fault.
Can't wait to see it built again although I have my doubt's about the purple wrap...

Your doubt is understandable, but I've seen a similar coloured bicycle with such tape, and it actually looked pretty good.
This is going to be my "pretty" bike, if purple doesn't look good, then the maroon most defintely will.
What's your opinion on the decals thought? I'm going for a modern Bob Griffin one that'll match the white headtube better (and emailing Atlantic Boulevard about it).
Since I always had a hard time not fitting properly on conventional frame, it's sheer luck* that I've managed to find one with the exact measurement for my body proportion.
*I says sheer luck, it has been sold a couple of time on the form before settling to a modest £130
exact seatpost height of 57cm giving me just the right amount of seatpost showing, with a ridiculously short top tube of 53.5cm on top meaning it will be the first time I'll break the 100mm barrier on the stem.
I'm not keen on the vinyl on the downtube, it too crass, doesn't look like it suited the frame at all, so eventually I'll get them remade differently, the headtube badge is definitely original (or reproduced).
