great race -i love the classics!

yeah Vanmarcke really deserved that, made all the crucial attacks at the right times. Think Boonen spent too much time at the front in the break and didnt leave enough for his finish. Still it shows that hes gonna be a real threat this time round

It's funny how over excited some people are getting about Tiernan-Locke. He's just won what are, essentially, a couple of early season training races yet I've seen some people suggesting he'd win Liege and is the best candidate GB have to defend the rainbow jersey?
Let's face it, if he wasn't British everyone would be speculating as to which wonder drug he was on, especially when the team he rides for is not part of the biological passport programme and, from what I understand, there was no drug testing at either the Tour of the Med or Haut Var.
.
funny you say that-I saw exactly those comments on l'equipe website and although at first I was a bit surprised I thought about it and could see where they were coming from. Then I just thought 'moaning french shits' and forgot about it.

The day a south american climber wins Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne is still a long way off.

He finished 33rd in the bunch, two seconds down on the winner according to this:

Wow.

He's going to have a few problems with people having to spell his name correctly during his career. :)
Was this a bunch sprint with a hole in it or a break that was nearly caught and held on by two seconds?

Tao did some excellent work for Jon Dibben, who came 5th. The break just stayed away. Full report here;

Cheers, Andy, and well done, Tao.

Sounds like a great effort. Be interesting to see how he would do at that level in something that favours the breaks more.

i rode with Tao's uncle in the fireflies tour of 2007.. Michael is also an incredibly strong rider as well as a decent film maker with Partizan (previously with Spank) ..
