Obviously. Elusive & soviet vs abundant & american. Pretty sure you wouldn't feel the same way if it was the other way around though. Not to call you out but I'm not sure how much of that sentiment is caused by the actual appearance of the wheels.

^ FYI Torayca are Japanese (Troika / Tponka) are Soviet.

I think Aerospokes look a bit kitsch - but they've always been the poor mans trispoke - They look great on late 80's early 90's TT bikes, and if (perish the thought) you ever have an allsop softride aerospokes are mandatory!!!
