oh the irony if that happens to you
I'm getting 2cm of spacers under the stem as planned. So if I want to race it I can just slam it.

haha chuffed i made it into the hhsb thread. bike has since had a total facelift. iridescant paintjob plus all new parts.
Glad to see my BMW got into a thread :)
Didn't really build it as an HHSB, mainly as a high end smooth and reliable everyday/everything bike. Just really like the feel of those bars for city riding and they're ridiculously stiff and comfy. I do agree that risers look better though, all Gangstas suit them best. Saying that I'll post a few photos with some sweeeet Nitto risers and stem to keep everyone happy ;)
Emailed BMW plenty regarding stickers but got zero response every time.. Did find a place that sells them but at £35 I'm not really that compelled to buy them. Anyone know anything cheaper/better? Cheers, Tgo with orange for sure, and good find on that link to decals! i contacted bmw as well, got nothing back...

The paint job had better match that sweet health shirt.

Massan's custom low is fucking beautiful!

i'd love a zaskar, matt black (with gloss black decals), rigid carbon forks, single ring on the front and a 10 speed block with big slicks. fucking slam it round the city
Hells yeah!
Soon as I finish my current (finally got the bar tape today, took em fecking long enough) I'm on the hunt for a Zaskar frame for my hack build to replace the On One Inbred which I can't seem to get on with. -

I really can't say I like it, and I know this is HHSB thread and everything but I don't see the point of getting a custom faux pro and then a stem that cancels out the slope...

why does it have brake surfaces? massan is a semi-pro skidder

It was most probably free......would you care?

Some people like the look of it I guess....

Having a low front end and then using a fuck ton of spacers or a 0 to +10 deg stem just looks kinda retarded, like "Look at my sweet custom frame!" "Pity it don't fit you though."
Don't get me wrong, I like the look of a faux lo pro, but if I was to get one made, I'd have an appropriate head tube length and a longer seat tube to get the desired sloping top tube effect.

I don't think the rims come any other way.

Or get the next size up?The seat's already way forward. I'm not sure it works!

• #4795
then you would have a longer top tube too.

Sorry. Ninja edit.

The zero degree stem I guess is the lightest/stiffest way of getting it right.

The point? HHSB are by that definition pointless... it would make a lot more sense to be using a -ve degree stem with risers wouldnt it. By no means is it the nicest bike in the thread but most of the arguments against it have been posted as pure HHSB standards!

Actually I just remembered they're not completely custom as I'd thought so it's not so bad. Really my main problem with it is (in keeping with the thread) aesthetic, I just think that a horizontal top tube and stem would look better
