saddle bags are good when you're doing an actual ride. I've got a tiny lezyne one that fits tyre levers, multi tool, patches, an inner tube and a gas canister. It's so small that it doesn't rattle at all and means my pocket are free for a rain jacket, hat, food and mini pump or gas pump and a water bottle if riding fixed.

I once rode home after my mate talked me in to taking acid with him, stupid idea. I forgot I was riding a bike for about 5 minutes, it was a massive shock when I looked down and saw it.

I tried to cycle back to my house in Manchester after doing a massive whack of ket once. I have no idea how fast I was actually going, but it felt like Tony Martin TT pace.

I was probably stationary, all things considered.
