ST 58ctc TT 57ctc
I thought it was 56 square, no wonder its too big.

I'm sure 56 square would have fit you if your mash did because that was the large size, right?

Find Tyler on my friends list on facey B, he's one of the founders, drop him a PM and see if they can do you something toighter?
Cool, will do nearer the time, I have no chance of buying a new frame any time soon. I'm just trying to find something I can treat myself to once I've paid off my overdraft .... motivation.
Something like this, but with nicer forks.

years of life? Have you checked it with a chain wear indicator?
Aye bruv, after the initial bedding in they're ain't going anywhere.
I've purchased second hand Supertoughs before, something I'd never do with other chains, such is my faith in their rock-like strength
my super toughness is fucking shit
Yr bike is broken

Dude just get an steel frame from an NJS builder.
That factory 5 looks like a conversion with new dropouts... thumbs down

agreed. could park a bus in that gap
-
• #36534
Haha!
I had to use sandpaper to shave off a bit of the top of the tire to make it fit and it still removed a little bit of paint from the inside of the fork. GP4000S in 23C. Going to switch back to Vittoria for a more easy clearance.
(and yes I need to clean my bike)

Ok since the type of chain apparently doesn't really matter:
painted black chain or normal silver?
I'm heading towards black or do people here consider that anti?
-
• #36536
Don't buy a painted chain...
-
• #36537
Thank you for the input :)
I learned that a normal colored chain (red/white/blue etc) is a bad idea. Trying to move from anti to HHSB. Even I can see my old fixed was anti now. Learning more and more everyday. Back in the days I thought it was the bomb but I didn't know any better.

after spending some time on NJS-Export I think I might just see whats available on there when I have the cash. That candy pink Bridgestone is fit.

• #36539
Haha I've been there too, I meant don't get a chain that's been painted rather than don't get a black chain. The izumi track standard comes in black and is a great chain.

• #36540
Ahhh ok, like that. That looks better. I think I'll post my first build in the anti forum. Thanks for the tip.

Nah, might do as a summer bike thought (no rush since they're always likely to have a 57x54 frames), with those italian sweep back road bar and C17 saddle.
-
• #36548
That will be cool to see, should get v brake mounts brazed on to piss on everyone.
-
• #36549
Hah! nah, summer bike = cruiser.
