Same bike as the one in the press release from 2009!

Constructive criticisim is better tho!

Look at the link, maybe you need to have a word with whoever is publishing the info...

I was at Royce yesterday... with the 14R drop outs. ;)

How much would it go for vaguely?
If you have designed your dream frame will it be sold complete as your dream bike?

Which in most cases is dismissed.

That would be quite presumptuous of me... I want people to build them up however they want to.
I can only give an idea of how they should be built up.

I'm going to get one, build it up with generic Chinese carbon components, and finish it off with some sweet Leader stickers.

Go on, be a little presumptuous...it'll be fine

Even if you do this, it will still be a vast improvement on your Alan.

Dude I actually quite like the look of your bike but don't diss the Alan, that bike is rad.

Well I would recommend building it up with the new Royce track cranks in black, with Royce double fixed black track hubs for a start. These will sit nicely on the Royce made 14R dropouts...
I like Royce. ;)

I'm not dissing the Alan... I had one myself many moons ago.
Come and take a test ride on the 14R and you will soon see what I'm talking about. -

Or you could slave it up with these...
-
• #3392
^^Oh, it's not actually an Alan (the alu frames), supposedly it's a Cougar and it's steel anyways. Unless you know more which would be cool because no one can tell me about the decals.
I would love to test the 14R but it will definitely be out of my reach price wise :)

14 really need to work on their paint job game in my opinion.
700 odd quid for a frame with powdercoat and vinyl decals??... does not compute. On the other hand, the frame looks pretty nice. Not that you'd catch me riding one on the street though..

I have to say andy, fair do's for always giving a level headed reply, I think a lot of people would have risen to the bait by now.

£700 for a Reynolds 853 fillet brazed custom sized frame is as good as you will ever get!
You can have any paint job you want. It will just cost you extra.
We mainly paint our frames with powder coating because it's tough. When you are riding your bike everyday, locking it up multiple times a day etc, powder coating last the longest. Also have you tried getting vinyls under a powder coat?(Because the guy at the powder coater's and I don't have a cost effective solution yet. I have been working with them for 6+ years and my frame was the 1st bicycle frame that they ever painted)
How would you suggest they go about that?
I'd appreciate the input. If you like they can paint your bike at Lotus...

I guess the only remaining question, which was already asked but not answered :
Does anyone know a link to the no-name chinese carbon track frame IDENTICAL to the Dosnoventa bike ? (Not a generic alibaba search)
-

We should commission a LFGSS crabon frame.
-
• #3399
What frame is this?
