I find it quite funny andy rips off those dosnoventas for being similar to an assumed concept dolan while hes own frame design looks like every leader frame ever made
Carbon is carbon. Aluminum is not and never will be steel.

I was just kidding andy, I think yor taking it too personal! Kudos to the dosnoventa guys and to you or 14co and now the new designs that look like leader frames! Did you copy them or just went for an upgrade of the leader? Im not with dosnoventa however Im in touch with them! And I'd like I have one of their bikes! But I also like to have one of yours! The point I'm tryin to make is that however is trying to support and ride bicycles has my support!
The 14R was inspired by a couple of bikes I owned in the past... I never have / never will own a Leader. As they are not my cup of tea.
It seems to me the value of making a custom sized hand made steel aero track frame, which is the only one on the market today... is completely lost to you.
So keep on buying your leader's and Dosnoventa's, they are rubbing there hands together at the thought of ripping off another customer. Or should I say... victim.
Good luck to you :)

is that a massive dent in the stay?
It is a dent made in the factory, to accommodate 165mm - 175mm crankarms. You would usually see a drive side shot of the Cannondale, so it's not a thing you see to often.

may look worse because of ratty condition

Would you take it if they gave you one for free to promote it?
No.

Before you go and blow €2000+ on a Dosnoventa...

I'm not kidding.
I saw the Dosnoventa guys at Eurobike last year and I also saw the Carbon frames they use in the Chinese brands section of the show...

I do not own either of them, if I had the money to splash on a frame will be a dosnoventa over a leader! I own a very British steel frame that goes by the name of aende!
I'm my opinion you seems very jealous of dosnoventa dunno f it's the bikes or the whole dosnoventa becoming so popular I think you as a rider and frame designer should support them rather than criticise, maybe even advice them as you been in the business longer! -

So you saying that Dolan is also a copy f th Chinese carbon frame?
Your a designer and you'll understand that nothing is original!
And if it works use it and make it better! -

Is yeahnerdz trolling or just dim?
Andy is safe and has designed a great frame from the ground up instead of dos and leader branding up generic crap. No comparison. -

There was a considerable debate regarding the styling and material choice of the above, throughout which Andy was a gent and explained that he'd pretty much designed/built his dream frame out of a material that will last a lifetime.

No comparison.I'm sure andy is a sound person and indeed has design a great frame, I'm a steel man me tho! All I'm saying is not need to be harsh against dosnoventa weather they design and built the frame or copy he should support them/ give them credit or even advice them like I mentioned before!

This is the first version built hastily in 2009. (I was going to Japan the next week) The latest version, which has yet to be seen will be so much better... Just saying this is not the best representation of the 14R.

dammit Malaysian I thought you'd be slower what with the one handed typing
:D -

I know is steel, never said it wasnt! And if I could have all the frames/bikes I want I would have the 14R plus quite a few more!

My advice to them is to go back to the drawing board... Do they even have one?!
I will criticise whomever I like. This forum is one of the most critical places and I love that because it sorts the good from the bad.
No, it's just pleased to see you.
