  • amazing, that's a Max tubeset?

  • Love it, but more of a ratbike surely. Ace paintjob

  • Absolutely love that. Would probably swap the cranks but it's just clean, simple and awesome.

  • cripes, that's lovely. I'm not going to bother trying to pick holes in it. dreamy!

Tips on making this more of an awesome shine bike while still being a good racer?
Don't want to spend an extreme amount of money.

Tires have been swapped for GP4k, , got a few more cards in my rear wheel. thinking about replacing SPD for SPD-SL.

  • orlowski is a repost, but good bike

  • ^^ get rid of that chain for a start

  • cripes, that's lovely. I'm not going to bother trying to pick holes in it. dreamy!

    to what? 7710s FTW

  • dan Oh yeah, forgot about that. got a nice black NJS chain on it. More tips? I don't like flat/riser bars. Sometimes I put my Deda base bars on it for a short ride but I do prefer drops for riding.

  • @Arawn
Those Cinelli pista stems are not that nice, that would be on my list of things to change.

  • still not over how slave this is or how much dropouts the dropouts are

  • There's something that bothers me about that frame now that I've been looking at it for a while. Not sure what exactly though...

  • You think so? Anything more shiny i should put there that is lightweight and not extremely expensive? I actually kind of like it because it has the same color scheme as my frame. It's a replacement of my previous PRO stem.

I bid on an Aerospoke for fun. If I can get it dirt cheap I'll take it. If all else fails I can sell it to someone else.

But I need more shine. Was walking with my bike with a proper track setup and a buddy had his leader with high profile colored rims was the centre of attention.

  • leader with high profile colored rims

  • you could try taping your bars properly and getting ride of the red tyres. Oh, and take the stickers off your rims - Pistards look much better in the nude.

  • For street riding (what he does): proper chain (no need for NJS stuff -.-), proper stem, proper seat angle, proper bars, de-sticker wheels, proper chainset.

  • Paint the frane fluoro pink and averything else black. Works for me and my mielec

  • There's something that bothers me about that frame now that I've been looking at it for a while. Not sure what exactly though...

For me the stem looks a bit too blocky for the rest of the bike and its aero parts.

  • nutjesmoar: I was in the shop and the only available non-colored chain was this NJS chain. Seat angle is perfect. Using proper bars. I like the stickers. I'm thinking about Miche cranks.

  • If you're insistent on using track drops, then there's not much you can functionally upgrade on there for cheap, short of starting the whole thing over again a building something decent.

  • it's not NJS if it's red

  • Something decent? Please explain what is not decent about a proper track setup?
