What Ed said and that the silver solder used to make a 953 frame costs around £200 on it's own.
The 14R is a frame set aimed at the MASH / Kagero price bracket. It should be around £1200+ but then our target market would not be able to afford a frame like this.
We will make a TIG Welded columbus 14R with a 33mm seat tube (no wheel cut out) and simplified drop outs, which will be cheaper. Also a Reynolds 953 Stainless Steel 14R, a bit pricier.
Tig weld thing sounds real interesting.
Still with the same aero tubing?Stainless 14R would be awesome as

From my recent attempts tonic will only deal with uk customers via TF where frames start at 1200 through them which kinda sucks
Well that could be import and their margin. I cant see why if you seriously offered Tonic 1k, they would turn it down - I doubt they have non-compete/barriers to trade with Kinoko..

Will look less leaderesque without the cut out and less goldielookinchain without the royce. If the fillet was kept i'd be tempted.

@Bonor I probably have no real need of bb30 but if it doesn't cost extra then why not (had bb30 on my roadie and it was pretty neat)
what cranks to you intend on running? personally i think bb30 would cause more issues that solve

Was thinking rotors, I know they will work with regular bb too but theyre designed for oversized bb systems so I figured I may as well go BB30. Why do you think bb30 is such a hassle? If theres good reason to avoid it then I have no strong feelings either way.
