^depends on the options but an otp sized one in Columbus zona is roughly £650 whereas a custom size one with Columbus life is about £850

Colossi custom steel is also seriously worth a look. They're dropping a range of frames at the moment that various folk are branding up as their own. I think they do the dart and the ONO for TFG already. Something relatively straightforward custom would be relatively quick/cheap.

Don't trust any frame builder that promotes a frame with the ST welded in backwards imo.

For £800-1000 you can get full custom f&f Woodrup in something nice. Fantastic frame builders, in my opinion 14r is just, a fashion accessory.
I forgot as well, Ted quoted me between £700-800 for full custom f&f in Columbus life/max.
He is a lovely bloke and an artist, I would give him my money any day.

(plus you can upgrade to columbus life tubing **and bb30 **for not much extra).
Out of interest why would you do this on a tarck frame? Guessing you'd go for the standard 75s, noms, DAs which are all widely available in threaded?

Also my vote goes to pelizzoli although guessing that would take it's sweet time too

He's on fb too just search Ted James Design.
Agreed. If I ever go custom Ted is my first choice. Oak 2nd

Custom I'd go Goff or Talbot.
I'd seriously think about getting a frame made in the states as the dollar is pretty weak right now - Supernaut for example would cost about 950 quid. Or get a Ti frame built by Triton for 750.

I think the 14r looks pretty fucking ropey - maybe I don't ride hard enough to appreciate them though.
Custom building a frame seems like a really fun, never ending nightmare that I will eventually have -too busy to make suitable spreadies at the moment though.

I thought they are boring, but then I saw couple of them in flesh.
the stays, the clamp mechanism, the fillets and dropouts - if batman would ride a steel bike it would be that frame. -

'i ride the street hard in london'
I don't think that'll be a problem :-)

I also really like the 14R, especially after having a small go on one the other day, the idea of steel also comforts me!

You really should quote the original source, I'd hate to take credit for someone else's riding style

From my recent attempts tonic will only deal with uk customers via TF where frames start at 1200 through them which kinda sucks

Hahahaha hahaha
Says someone who is helping to push a standard lugged track frame with a sparkle paint job and some restrap graphics.
Unless I'm missing something that is yet to be revealed.
If you had a 14R, it would last you a lot longer than all of the other frames you have broken.

4 years of prototype testing has proven that the 14R is tough.
how much does the victoire cost roughly?
