Going up ditchling beacon today using a range of gears to make the effort efficient and then coming down the back it maxing out at 45mph. Sure I never climbed or descended alps on my track bikes but fuck me if anyone clipped in or out is coming near speeds like that going down.

From his stated gearing and apparent cadence, he wasn't getting anywhere near 45 mph on descent.
