This so very much.
I was surprised by that, after 20 minutes of climbing, you get used to, I think I'll do some climbing on the fixie skidder in the Pyrenees this year.
Col de Puymorens, average 4.4% - comfortable on a standard 67GI
this is the part were we crossed the pyrenees: [ame]http://www.bikemap.net/route/1980792[/ame]
my gear ratio was 45x17.

it was part of our trip to barcelona and really great, but i would never ride those kind of fixed tours, i'm more into climbing and going downhill fast with the roadie. but landscape was great!

Is that in the Philippines? I'm going out there in May. Might get a bike to ride around on while i am there, not naked though. Where my wife's family lives they are more into mtbs than track or hhsb from what i have seen before. I reckon a 1hr ride would be enough to kill me in the summer heat though.

i give him props if he rode those passes in one try without doing breaks after every 2nd corner.
Then you need to give him props because he does not stop until he reaches the summit.
I have witnessed this 1st hand on more than one occasion.
