  • There will be a build thread when I get back from Norway.

  • God damn son how much time do you spend outside of the UK!?

  • Spacer stack^

  • I god damn love those frames.

  • Just realised that I need to respray my Pompino in that colour

  • i think only people who would want to do the same are giving him props, which is fine?

i give him props if he rode those passes in one try without doing breaks after every 2nd corner. i also can understand the feeling if you're on top of the hill and you know that you had only one gear.

    BUT

going downhill brakeless is the worst part and nothing that i can understand (his doctor will explain him his knee surgeries). i for myself realised after 4 years that it's more fun to ride those hills and passes with a road bike (up and down), but those are my 2 cents

    Not long enough!

  • ^that is a fantastic way to crash a bicycle.

  • Is that seriously a DA hub on a visp?

  • Is it a Visp or a Prolite?

  • not a visp or a Prolite

    its a PCO lite

    otherwise known as heavy POC

  • I wonder what is happening to all the Livestrong gear that's still out there.

Having said that I was on some US-based roadie forum the other day and people were still all "yeah but he raised $Xm for charity and everyone else was doping too" about Lance.

They're all the same, my mate has had both lol

  • I really hope someone won a race on a Visp

It hasn't dropped in value as much as i'd of hoped. Still goes for big money on the bay and stuff. Although a few days after the oprah show the sport direct nearest me had the hugest livestrong sale it was pretty hilarious

  • Buy it cheap and dye it.

  • I really hope someone won a race on a Visp

Sumo won keirin race at the last forum track day in 2011(?) on a VISP. Done.

I have some bibs, they're Livestrong Turbo, or under-tights only gear from now on.

    Props

for putting the fear in other people with more expensive setups

way to serve up the humble pie..

  • fair do's on all the other but i do ask this question alot. It does seem a bit backwards

I used to think the same untill I started riding street on a MTB. You can ride loads of really sketchy stuff that you wouldn't be able to on a BMX. There are a lot of people out there doing shit you could do better on a BMX on MTBs though and I'd agree that seems pretty pointless.

  • to be fair i've been told by some lycra louts and guys i ride with that the stelvio pass isn't even that hard it's just long, pick a nice GI and you'll be fine.

    This so very much.

I was surprised by that, after 20 minutes of climbing, you get used to, I think I'll do some climbing on the fixie skidder in the Pyrenees this year.

Col de Puymorens, average 4.4% - comfortable on a standard 67GI

  • Col du Galibier, uncomfortable on fucking everything!

  • Colin i don't know if your bike has been here yet, but with twin hed 3s i expect it has.
